The Creation and Vision of CarrierCommand
CarrierCommand was born from a bold vision: to champion the heart of the trucking industry—carriers and truckers—who keep our world moving. Since the brokerage boom of the 1990s and 2000s, carriers have been sidelined, undervalued, and overlooked. Ben saw this injustice firsthand, and the seeds of CarrierCommand were planted.
Ben's journey in trucking spans over a decade, beginning behind the wheel as a driver crisscrossing the continental United States for three years. From there, he moved into operations, honing his skills as a dispatcher and later managing a fleet of over 25 trucks. Along the way, he witnessed how predatory brokers and rampant fraud stripped carriers of their power and dignity.
Philip, with his experience in sales and insight into the shipper side of trucking, uncovered a parallel truth: brokers were creating friction, not solutions. Instead of collaboration, carriers and brokers were locked in a cycle of distrust and conflict, and the problem was only growing worse.
Enough was enough. In 2023, Ben and Philip united with a shared mission to rebuild trust and fairness in trucking. They envisioned CarrierCommand—a platform and community dedicated to protecting carriers, exposing exploitation, and driving real change.
CarrierCommand is here to shine a light on the industry's wrongs. For too long, carriers and brokers have been pitted against each other, eroding the foundation of trucking. We're changing that by leveling the playing field.
